Project Spotlight
Lately, we’ve been working on several homes for Cambridge Custom Homes in Sea Bright, NJ. Each house has a lovely view of the river on the left side and the ocean on the right side. The colors on the outside almost look like sea glass which makes them the perfect beach houses.

Industry Event: Zarrilli Homes Contractor Appreciation Evening
On March 29th, we were invited to Zarrilli Homes’ Contractor Appreciation Evening at the Mantoloking Road Playhouse! All of the contractors at the event played an important part in the creation of this theater. For us, this was quite a challenging project and it required three different phases of construction. However, the final result was truly worth the effort.
The event featured renowned New York hypnotist, Stephen Christopher AKA Mr Hypno, and we learned about the power of imagination and the subconscious mind. He was quite hilarious!
We would like to thank Anthony Zarrilli and Patrick Bottazzi for this incredible opportunity as well as Kendra Zarrilli for putting together an amazing video featuring all of the different stages of construction. This was a fantastic project to create together and we are excited for the future of BCCT’s productions at the Mantoloking Road Playhouse.

Spotlight on Your Favorite Employee at Louis & Sons

In this section, we hope to get you familiar with some of the great people we have working here

Roberto has been with Louis & Sons for twenty years! He is Mike and Bob’s right hand man. He manages the warehouse and manages all the workers on the field. He makes sure everyone gets what they need to complete their jobs. He has four-five men that he directly supervises to increase efficiency. We truly believe we would be lost without Roberto’s tireless work ethic and ingenuity to get things done. Roberto is married with three daughters and is a big fan of Don Julio Tequila.

Tips for Homeowners
When scheduling insulation and drywall, make sure each trade is posted in the proper position, allowing each subcontractor to finish their portion of the project before starting the next. For example, oftentimes people try to stack the trades to complete the job faster. The end result is that everyone gets in each other’s way and counterproductively ends up taking longer. It’s like teaching a pig to whistle. It’s a waste of time and annoys the pigs. Also, try not to order cabinets, flooring, or appliances before the spackle is complete. It makes their job much harder and more dangerous and you risk damaging the merchandise.
Thanks for your consideration and happy building to all.
Best,
