Project Spotlight
This month, we’ve been working on a huge renovation project for the historic Ryer House in Matawan which was originally built in 1873 by former mayor David Ryer. The house features seven bedrooms, three bathrooms, a long porch that wraps around the house, and fireplaces in almost every room which were considered a symbol of wealth in the 1800s. The final project will be converted into apartments. We are so excited to be a part of this project and are proud to preserve the history of our state.
Fun Fact: The home was also featured in the 2024 film, Space Cadet, starring Emma Roberts.

Spotlight on Your Favorite Employee at Louis & Sons
In this section, we hope to get you familiar with some of the great people we have working here
Guillermo started with Louis & Sons over 15 years ago as a subcontractor. Mike and Bob soon saw his talent and offered him a position as a member of the touch up team. Since then, he has moved up to manager of the entire division. His easy-going nature, kind smile, and excellent taping skills make him a favorite of all the builders and supers who reach out for repair work.
Guillermo is married with three kids: two daughters and one son. In his spare time, he loves soccer and spending time with his family. We truly are lucky to have such a great guy working for our team.

Sheraton Crossroads Site in Mahwah Demolished as Redevelopment Plans Advance
JUNE 5, 2025 | MAHWAH, NJ
On May 10th, Crossroads Developers tore down the 250 ft tall, 25-story Sheraton Crossroads hotel in Mahwah, NJ. The township council has approved to increase the maximum potential square footage from 1.7 million to 4 million square feet. The most recent proposal plans to include an industrial facility, fulfillment center, and data center space..
